I can't speak for all of Littleton, but sidewalks in my neighborhood are a joke. I live in the SE part of town near Broadway and Mineral. I can't walk next to my wife without one of us walking in the street. Can't we increase the width of the sidewalks so two people can comfortably walk side by side? This would also reduce the likelihood of being hit by an automobile or bicycle. I love the idea of putting in planter strips, but I know that's an additional cost.
