I'm sorry to say this, but the City's website isn't very much fun to look at and to navigate. I think we can can do better. Please visit the City of Golden website to see how advanced they are in comparison to us - and they aren't nearly as big. We've crowded too much onto the front page, and Golden's site layout is superior. We can do better!

One of the really cool innovations that Golden has adopted is the use of the "YourGov" application - which allows citizens to report problems from their smart phones. The application uses GPS coordinates, and the user can send a picture of the problem that they've observed. This process elimates several steps in a normal citizen complaint process and thus saves time and money for the City Staff.
